"God revealed His heart in such a special way on my visit to the Holy Land and I can't wait to tell you about it..."
-Marilyn

Our 13-day trip to Israel and Jordan in the fall of 2005 was filled with incomparable spiritual significance...Biblical sites...miracle healings... powerful teaching...audiences with heads of state...and dynamic ministry!

Most ministry trips to the Holy Land inspire the soul and stir the spirit—this trip did that and so much more! Throughout this group tour God demonstrated the unifying power of his love...Muslims...Jews...and Christians were standing side-by-side praising God! A hotel ballroom in Amman, Jordan became a showcase for miracle healings and salvations. The combined attendance for the two city-wide meetings exceeded 4,000! During the sessions over 500 accepted Jesus as Lord—mostly teens and young adults—in a predominately Muslim country!

This doesn't include those who received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit during Marilyn's meetings in Amman, which is truly a miracle since so little is known about the Baptism by people living in the region.

Marilyn met with the Vice Prime Minister of Israel, and the Mayor of Jerusalem; and her audience with King Abdullah II of Jordan was truly an answer to prayer. She made friends with members of the underground church in Syria, and hosted a Ministry Training School...each event spiritually significant in its own way.

Upon arriving in Jordan the travelers were given frequent opportunities to meet other people who love Muslims, Jews, and Jesus. Those with a passion to minister had their desires fulfilled, too!

Many of the travelers emphatically said, "This is the best ministry trip I've ever been on," a sentiment shared by Marilyn.

Amman, a showcase for miracles
The meetings in Amman went better than anyone could have imagined. After Marilyn taught on Mark 5 and the woman with the issue of blood she gave an invitation for salvation. It was amazing how powerfully the Holy Spirit moved among the crowd. Later, the travelers prayed over everyone who attended.

The salvations were indeed awesome and helped prepare everyone's heart for a mighty outpouring of God's miracle healing power.
• a Muslim woman, blind in one eye, received her sight
• a woman with shoulder pain for 12 years was delivered from pain
• one of the travelers suffering from deafness in one ear had her hearing miraculously restored
• a woman was pain-free in her ankle for this first time in four years
• an accident victim with two broken knees was able to bend them for the first time in three years
• a local pastor was delivered of pain after a knee injury
• a woman, unable to sit without pain for 10 years, is now pain free

A touching moment occurred when Marilyn asked everyone in the audience to
pray for a creative miracle in the life of Catherine, a girl born without sight who
touched the hearts of everyone at the Amman meetings.

Meetings with Heads of State
"You may remember me asking you to pray that I would receive an audience with King Abdullah II of Jordan. In fact, my ministry partners and staff have believed with me—literally for years—to see this come to pass. God answered our prayers! I was still a little shocked to be able to meet him considering he had just returned from Yemen, finished a meeting with President Basher of Sudan, AND was meeting with Bill Gates of Microsoft after me.

The King was very gracious, and it appears to me that the Hussein family is called to be peacekeepers in the Middle East. I felt the Holy Spirit prompt me to pray for him. This caught him rather unaware, but I felt he was touched by my offer."
—Marilyn

Marilyn's meeting with Jordan's King wasn't her only meeting with high-ranking political figures. Her meetings with the Vice Prime Minister of Israel and Mayor of Jerusalem established relationships that are sure to benefit future outreaches to Israel.

Ministry Training School
One of Marilyn's priorities has always been to train Christian leaders whenever she travels overseas. During this trip, Pastor Dikran Salbashian, a key pastor influencing the region, hosted Marilyn's Ministry Training School in Amman with dynamic results. Over 200 Christian leaders attended from churches throughout Jordan. Marilyn taught on breaking generational curses. Afterward she and her staff anointed everyone who walked through a prayer tunnel for increased anointing in their ministry.

The Majesty of Petra
Before the travelers left Jordan and traveled to Israel, they visited the magnificent splendor of Petra which left them speechless. Renowned as one of the world's most impressive archeological sites, this ancient city was carved into towering cliffs of red, orange, and pink sandstone and dates back to 200 B.C.

In Jesus' Footsteps
When the team arrived in Israel they were filled with excitement and anticipation. Many Christians can only dream about walking in Jesus' footsteps or hearing the Word in the actual places He taught—these 150 travelers lived that dream!

Each day was its own living Bible lesson. Sites like the Mount of Olives...Garden of Gethsemane...Nazareth...Via Dolorosa...Upper Room...brought the Bible alive and stirred the soul of every traveler.

No trip to Jerusalem would be complete without a visit to the Wailing Wall, known for centuries as the spiritual heart of the Jewish faith. The Western Wall is the most holy place accessible to the Jewish people because of Muslim control of the Temple Mount. At times tens of thousands of people gather there for prayer.
Marilyn taught at the Dead Sea, Mount of Beatitudes, Garden Tomb, Massada, Celebration Dinner, and in boats on the Sea of Galilee.

Visiting the Empty Tomb
Every day was spiritually significant, however, there were two days that stood apart. Imagine an early morning teaching by Marilyn from boats in the middle of the Sea of Galilee followed by water baptism in the Jordan River near Jesus' baptism site.

Another highlight came a few days later as communion was celebrated at the Garden Tomb, believed to be Jesus' burial site. The communion, Galilee teaching, and baptism celebration were more powerful than anyone could have imagined.

Modern History
In addition to visits at ancient Biblical sites, the travelers toured the recently opened Holocaust Museum, a stirring testimony to the strength and faith displayed in the face ,of human suffering. During the trip Marilyn was honored to dedicate the site of The Museum of Tolerance and the Center for Human Dignity which is destined to be one of Israel's most visited sites. This multi-million dollar project honors the Jewish dream of tolerance of all faiths, which is a dream Marilyn embraces.

Leaving the splendor of Israel and Jordan was difficult for everyone—God did so much during this trip. The relationships that Marilyn established with King Abdullah II of Jordan, the Vice Prime Minister of Israel, and the Mayor of Jerusalem may very well impact future ministry in these countries in the years to come. We may never know the full impact Marilyn's team made there, but one thing is certain, hundreds accepted Jesus and received a healing touch of God's miracle power.

The Holy Spirit's Moving in Israel
God is powerfully at work in the Holy Land, and it's clear that He had prepared the way for this ministry team. The travelers returned home enriched and energized by everything they experienced. Their goal was to reach the lost, bring reconciliation and restoration to Jew and Arab alike, and gain fresh revelation from God's Word—they accomplished this...and so much more!

These travelers fulfilled the Great Commission on the very soil Jesus first instructed His followers to make disciples of all nations. It was a blessed time and a blessed trip.

One traveler said, "The things I saw and experienced changed the way I'll read my Bible the rest of my life."

Thank you for your prayers and support that made this trip a reality! Marilyn feels privileged to have been used by God to minister the gospel in the Holy Land—the spiritual home to Christians, Jews, and Muslims.
